Cards not completed just roll back around.
For habit chains: tasks are chained together, and added / removed / reordered based on triggers.
For repeating tasks: use habit chain heads.

Habit chains

Head of chain is always visible from the task list view for the given cycle.

When a chain has been completed down to link N for 14 consecutive days, link N+1 is added to the active habit chain.
